Iusmen Iusmen accusation
Posted by L. Alzate on 06.27.2008
Iusmen is a great math teacher, a good neighbor, and generally a very kind person. I am confident that he will be cleared. But sadly it will be next to impossible for him to get his hard earned and well deserved reputation back. Shame on the public trial staged by you, the media.
Innocent until Guilty

If and when he is cleared of the charges, I, the media, will represent that in this article, and will help to clear his name. As for right now, the fact is that he was arrested on allegations of abuse. Nobody said he did it, nobody said he was guilty. He was arrested on allegations.
Facts. They do suck. Until they work out in your favor. Hopefully for Iusmen, he will be cleared of these charges.
Innocent

I was a student of Mr. Iusmen and I must say almost all Van Nuys students are supporting Mr. Iusmen. We are sure he will be cleared of all charges. From what we've heard, these allegations were part of a senior prank gone too far. The girl who has made these allegations has serious credibility issues.

idk why every site has supporters of iusmen. idk if he is paying you guys off or if it is him using fake names. Seriously, stop defending the pedophiles. Thats what is wrong with the world. Try to keep it safe for the rest of the world
imma post what i posted on the other site http://badbadteacher.com/iusmen-iusmen/
wow, you can soo tell that the good comments were either done by Iusmen’s family, friends or maybe a concerned teacher in disguise most likely so van nuys doesn’t look bad. and the “stfu lac” was done by an angry student. There for we can’t really trust either one of those comments
although i wasn’t one of his students, i have heard numerous amounts of his students talking about his sexual remarks, i nvr really believed it until more trustful people told me. On the other hand i have seen him during Calc camp we had before the AP tests, he seems like an honest man that isn’t a pedophile, but seriously we can’t just tell he is innocent by his looks and experience we had with the person. We often hear on the news when someone does something wrong such as murder, the neighbors always most likely says that ” oh “so and so” doesn’t seem like the type to do this, he/she was always a nice person and blah blah blah”.
So yeah, i guess we shouldn’t judge him till the trial goes though. BUT. i still wouldn’t want him as my teacher next year for calc BC because of these charges, it would make me uncomfortable along with many more students.
Comment above clearly biased

Pedophile, eh? You must be an expert in the field. I must say that you travel from one end of the spectrum to the other in terms of accusing and then lightly dismissing the gravity (or lack thereof) of this situation. I, too, know Mr. Iusmen and have a very strong feeling that these "accusations" are blatantly false- most likely the girl responsible for these chaotic series of events received a bad grade and wanted to take her revenge one step further. Either that or it was some perverted senior prank gone wrong.
Concerning L. Alzate's comment, I agree with your stance. The media feeds off of such news like rabid animals without food yet as much as the situation disgusts me, I can't quite blame them- its how they stay in the business. I will say that it is a shame that such an incident should reach such heights in terms of publicity. Hopefully all will be resolved in good time.
