Former teacher Michael Cardoza found guilty for sex acts

Michael Cardoza, a 59 year old former math teacher at Pioneer Valley High School in Santa Maria, California has been found guilty on numerous charges after being accused of having sexual relations with a 16 year old minor. Cardoza was charged and found guilty of one felony count of child molestation, four counts of oral copulation with a minor, and one count of documenting the sex act of a minor, and last but not least, development or duplication of an image of a child engaged in a sexual act.

Cardoza is being held without bond, and will be sentenced July 31st. He is facing a possible 18 years in prison.

Michael Cardoza has been sentenced to 16 year in prison. Cardoza will be required to serve at least 13 years before he will be eligible for parole.
