Coach Patrick Colon gets 10 years for sex crimes

Patrick Colon, a 29 year old former coach at Schulenburg High School in Schulenburg, Texas has plead guilty to 2 counts of having an inappropriate relationship between educator and student. As part of his plea deal, prosecutors agreed to drop a single charge of sexual assault of a child.

He received a 10 year prison sentence for one count, and a 10 year deferred adjudication probation sentence for the other.

Colon was remanded to the county jail after his plea deal, awaiting his transfer to prison. He is no doubt getting his Colon tested in county, and the real test will come when he gets upstate.
